The inaugural season of the WRKC will take place in October 2020. It is organised and run by motorsport enthusiasts Royston Badham, organiser of the Pembrokeshire Karting Championship and the team at West Wales Karting, one of the top indoor karting circuits in Wales.
The WRKC moves away from the traditional multi round, multi track idea and mimics the format successfully used by the British Rental Kart Championship; a single event at one venue.
The WRKC will take be an all-day event at West Wales Karting and will be open to any driver wishing to take part in a professionally run tournament. Using the house fleet of rental karts, costs will be kept to a minimum meaning it is easier than ever to get on the karting ladder and showcase your talent and passion!
We have teamed up with the BRKC to be billed as the 'Official Welsh Regional Qualifer' to the BRKC. We hope to encourage drivers from lower grassroots competitions in Wales to take part and give them a clear path of progression from grassroots, to the WRKC, BRKC and ultimately the World Karting Championship!
